The Marigold Parade, celebrating Día de los Muertos, is the quirkiest parade I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t miss it for anything.
I took a 4,000-mile trip to Oregon and back, and took lots of beautiful (or at least potentially beautiful) photos: sunsets, bridges, lighthouses, etc. But this turned out to be one of my very favorites — a tree that appeared to be growing through the middle of an old car. I looked at the car closely and actually think it was reassembled around the tree, but never mind that. I love it anyway.
